Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Oregon Chapters of APCO/NENA, representing a joint membership and commitment, to advocate for Oregon's public safety communications system and for excellence in service delivery by public safety communications professionals statewide.

The Oregon APCO/NENA membership carries out this mission for telecommunicators, supervisors, technicians, administrative professionals and commercial members by voicing issues; proposing solutions; visioning where the system could and/or should be; coordinating a consistent message; serving as an information clearinghouse; and promoting the integrity of 9-1-1 by supporting the professionalism and growth of communications professionals state wide.
